Introduction

Until comparatively recently, most individuals worked at one job for their entire lifetime. Many families held a common occupation, with every family member contributing in some way to the family business. In recent decades, an increasing number of workers have been affected by major shifts in the kind of employment they hold during their lifetime.

The Task

Group Assignment

In groups of four you will research the professions of your choice, searching specifically for, job description, skills and qualities required and other related information. Based on your research you will design a job advertisement, a written job description, a professional resume and an overview report of employment trends in South America . As a group you will research, consult and co-design an informative presentation of your work.

Students will be evaluated in three main categories
A. Written language B. Oral Language Presentation C. Group Work
