Ladies Gaelic Football
Probably the biggest sporting success story of Moate Community school is the girls G.A.A. We continue to produce teams of excellent skill, commitment and determination. Having won numerous titles in the last few years our ladies team is headed by Mrs. Nolan. She continues to ensure our girls have the best training with participation levels among our girls being very large.In recent times the success of our under 16 and senior girls has been a real highlight. We have produced many players who have gone on to represent Westmeath and Leinster teams with great pride.
Fidelma Nolan
All Ireland national league title with Galway,Connaught junior/minor titles,Connaught club titles and countless county medals with St.Brendans highlights Fidelma’s wealth of experience.Fidelma is widely regarded as one of the best ladies football coaches in the country.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Neuromuscular Therapy and sports massage
Qualified in Defib training/Basic first Aid
Patrice Keogh
Member of the Westmeath ladies panel 2010/2011 and has captained her local club Moate All whites in 2010.Patrice is widely regarded as a great coach and looks forward to working with frist year students and developing their game.
Qualifications:
Fetac level 5 occupationsl first aid/National Pool lifeguard/ITEC Diploma in Anatomy and Phsiology/Intro to Badminton coaching level 1
Ann Marie Farrell:Ann Marie is a former student of the school and is back on the teaching staff. She is actively involved in Ladies Football, which has big turnouts for training at all levels.
